Ah Ha. So Kashmir does use his speed to have fun with Sandusky and then escape. ;D
That confused look on Sandusky's face from waking up someplace unfamiliar and trying to figure out what is going on is just so cute.
Of course I have a similar look sometimes when I'm sleeping somewhere other than my bed, like in the chair in the living room, in the basement, or in a motel when I'm on the road for work, wake up and for a moment wonder where the heck I am. Sometimes it takes me quite awhile to remember.
At least Sandusky seems to have forgotten about getting left behind for the wedding. Though he might pout some more.

Yup, 3-legged Cougar. It will be interesting to find out what happened to him as a cub.
I wonder why he is there if it isn't a recent injury? Perhaps Achilles owner is moving or something. Or Achilles wasn't "legal" like Sandusky for a long time.
What will be really funny is if Achilles and Sandusky race and Achilles is still faster than Sandusky. ;D

Oh man, poor Achilles, I never knew his handicap was going to be like that. But on the brighter side, Achilles seems to be pretty comfortable with himself, as well as being a pretty humble character so far too. he also seems to take things as they come along, so I guess we'll just have to see where the story goes from there.

Agreed, I worked retail for 5-years and my experience is the handicapped will generally be either your best or worst customers. One of our door greeters lost her leg to cancer, she is an awesome person to hang around with, took her out shooting once, need to take her out again. She is also superb at catching shoplifters. She is fast in that wheelchair. A great customer was a quadriplegic guy that came to shop and someone would go around putting his shopping into the cart. It was so fun to help him out. Such a great sense of humor. There was another paraplegic guy who was into shooting and handloading like I am. I would love to hang out with him, but he just lives too far away to make it practical. He had heavy duty brakes fitted to his chair so he could shoot the heavy recoiling stuff without having to wheel himself back into position for the next shot like a Civil War cannon. ;D Then there is the lady with Multiple Sclerosis who is always fun to talk to and full of insight. The good ones seem to have the attitude of, "Nothing I can do about it so just accept it and get on with life." They seem to be happier than quite a few of the able bodied customers I've come across. We all have our handicaps to some degree. Some we can change, some we can't. The ones we can't we just have to accept and move on with life. Of course we had quite a few bad handicapped customers too, but no need to talk about them.

Heh, of all Sandusky's faults, being too polite is one of the better ones. That and not being sure how to react to new things.
By the looks of Achilles, he is used to this kind of reaction. I guess he is keenly aware that he is better off than 99% of other handicaped animals in the world. Quite a few handicapped people I have known get a bit of a kick watching some people be excessively polite.
My one major thought so far is that I hope Achilles is right pawed, otherwise things could get tippy. (Though he could lean to the right and balance that way.)

Doh!
I totally missed Achilles' handicap until Sandusky pointed it out...

No offense Dusker, but you're not the sharpest tool in the shed. XD And Achilles seems to be pretty unfazed by Sandusky's naiveness like crosshair pointed out. Again, I totally like how he is not offended by Sandusky whispering to Kashmir about his condition. Just sits there happy and proud.

No offense Dusker, but you're not the sharpest tool in the shed. XD I don't know if it is a matter of sharpness, as Sandusky is plenty sharp at times. I think it's more along the lines of trying to use a rake as a shovel. Doh! I totally missed Achilles' handicap until Sandusky pointed it out... I've got you beaten. I helped out in fabrics with the heavy lifting and when it was busy at the Wal-mart I used to work at. I frequently chatted with the nice grey haired ladies that worked there on the floor and in the break room. One of them I had known for three or four years, talking to her almost every day, and then one day I come into the break room and she is telling the story of how she lost her right thumb when she was a truck driver. There I am, doumbfounded and speechless, trying to keep a straight face at what I can clearly see now as an obvious injury, but one that I had completely missed for over three years. I had watched and helped her cut fabric, stock shelves, and yet I had never noticed it. I felt bad at first, but once I thought about it for a bit, I realize that it was actually a good thing. I had not noticed it because I simply wasn't looking for it. I wasn't looking for every imperfection in everyone I met and instead I was paying attention to the person. Of course than can backfire too. I ran into a couple of situations like the one in George Carlin's "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics" CD. Let me tell you, it is HARD to keep a straight face in such a scenario, but I managed to do OK.

Oops, reading though my last post from the 2nd I realize that perhaps the way I wrote it made it look like I was coming across as a little condescending to you campsoup1988. I hope it didn't. I was just trying to make you not feel so bad about not noticing Achilles injury by relying my experience on such matters. Anyway, back to today. The getting hit by a car is understandable. However it seems like Achilles is skipping around a bit, leaving out some details. No offense to Achilles, but I would think Sandusky should be backing up away from him after the last frame. Hmmm, a Canadian cougar Eh? So he was brought down here after he got hit by the car as a cub and is back down again because he got seriously sick? I wonder where he normaly lives. Seems like Achilles is a bit of a magnet for misfortune.

I kinda thought the same thing. Plus, the way Achilles says how he had a serious virus was oddly nonchalant like "Now I've gotten over this fatal virus, I'm all fine, happy and chipper!" ;D Kinda like a Hakuna Matata thing too me.

I bet he's trying to spook Sandusky, too.
Also, nice touch with the Python posters.

Now I'm going to be waiting all weekend with that tumbling around in my head. I wonder if Sandusky is going to freak out and/or if he is going to put a paper sack over his head thinking it will work as a surgical mask.

I always feel weird posting here because it seems like half the posts are mine. Going along with what Panzerschreck pointed out about with Achilles possibly messing with sandusky. What if this is Kashmir's idea? I wonder if Kashmir is planning something and is behind Sandusky ready to spook him or if he locked the two of them in the room. Oh the possibilities. ;D
