Actually, the little cat is real. He can see and interact with Petroclus because he happens to be a little nipped out himself. Oh yea, I know the grey cat is "real" I was just being a smartie by trying to twist it into a double negative sort of situation. I kinda tripped over myself though in the wording. One of those ideas that was funnier in my head. The question you should be asking is how many of the Cat-a-lot cats were real and how many were imaginary. OOOOOOOOOO. Good one. That's like a Schrödinger's cat type experiment there. How do we even know they are really outside? They could all still be inside watching a DVD of "Planet Earth" on the TV and listening to "Da Yoopers" on the stereo for all we know. At least the storm troopers haven't shown up yet.

Andre is doing real well, getting big!! Still has some of his spots, which makes him so cute. His Metabolic Bone Disease is doing real well, he will be making the big step of finally getting a perch to jump on, now that the vet has cleared him. I tried to get some, but none turned out good, he moved so much they all came out blurry I'll try again next time I'm there, which will probably be soon.

I seem to remember a show on Animal Planet that mentioned that big cats aren't fond of water, and even the ones that swim (tigers, jaguars) don't like it as cubs - their mothers have to throw them in until they get used to it. (found a reference link: www.lairweb.org.nz/tiger/water2.html ) Is the little kitty Goliath? I seem to remember him being less vocal before. Did Patroclus wink out of existence in the last panel when reminded that he isn't real? This whole catnip buddies deal is very weird. Hmm. "Catnip Buddies!" Next, on Nick. Followed by 12 hours of Spongebob!

Hmm, dunno. I remember Goliath being darker in color. I relish in the weird and the random. LOL!!! ;D Anyhoo, pertaining to the current strip, I just loved it when Petroclus just told that little cat to shut his trap. I would be a bit irritated after a while too if someone smaller than me was chanting on about how I was a coward. Any my, oh my, isn't this sad-- once again I am unable to use the computer at my mom's place and in great desperation, am using one of the computers at the college library instead. Talk about OCD.

Cougarhearted is right, Goliath has darker fur. I don't think we have seen him yet in this story. I can see how it would be, but if you're been reading the strip for long enough it's just second nature. Not to mention, who is the first one who ran? Though perhaps it is for the best since we know what happens to the minstrels. Hmmmm, Petroclus is looking up at Kashmir, Sandusky, and Achilles. I wonder what they are perched on top of? Are they going to tip over, allowing Petroclus to pass? Thinking of back when I was in theater in school, I wish costume changes was as easy as it is here for Kashmir, Sandusky, and Achilles. Change a hat and presto, new character. Edit: Though this strip also answers my question of what Sandusky's fur is going to look like once he takes that bucket off his head. Looks like he's a little ichy from it though.

Oh come on you two. Sandusky is doing a superb job and you guys keep taking things way too literally. Look at what you're done, you let Petroclus escape. (Though how do you kill someone who doesn't exist? ) You two really need to get into the characters and stop fooling around.

You're right about that. So technically, the only way to make an imaginary friend vanish from existence is to just simply let all that catnip wear off. It also seems that Achilles is more of a "I'm a lover and not a fighter" type of cat. And Kashmir had only seen Monty Python once? I intially presumed that he had seen it many times. Caught a bit by surprise there.

Woa, that's really going back in time there. I realized when driving home from work another part of the strip: A cat complaining about a fellow cat being homicidal. Isn't that like complaining to a midget about them being short? ;D

Due to the Easter holiday, there won't be any new strips this coming week. I am out of town and won't have access to my computer in time to get things out. Sorry!
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

Happy Easter Everybody!!! Get stuffed and have fun. BURP!!!!Happy Easter to everyone. So John, how do Cougar and Tundra ride in the car? Do they fight over who gets to have their head out the window or do you have a car and they each get one. ;D Or do they just sleep on the floor? Our dog Patch didn't like sticking his head out the window. He would stand on the back seat with his paws on the front seats and stick his head up between the front seats to see out the front window. My dad hated this because Patch had bad breath.

Ya know what? I was just thinking about this the other day; is it possible that the black cat portraying the black knight was Goliath? Just a theory, though....
