Perhaps that's because Kashmir and Achilles have stopped to converse with the cat?

Perhaps that's because Kashmir and Achilles have stopped to converse with the cat? She is a cute little kitty. A little ornery though.

I always thought Lions were the kings of the cats, at least Kashmir is getting a promotion. ;D

I was just thinking... I wonder what kind of role Champ and all the other large felines of the sancuary will play a part in. But then, I may just be stating the obvious.

I just wanted to clarify that Kashmir and Achilles are the only "big cats" at the sanctuary. The other big cats we've met (such as Champ) actually live at the zoo. That's not to say that the parts in question won't get filled, of course.

Oh dang, silly me. It completely slipped my mind that the other big cats were at the zoo. Must be one of those days.....

I'd vote for Cheetahs. ;D Oh dang, silly me. It completely slipped my mind that the other big cats were at the zoo. Must be one of those days..... We all have those. I have been wondering as well who John is going to have as some of the other characters. The sanctuary probably gets quite a bit of turnover so who knows. Isn't there a decent collection of snakes at the sanctuary? Most are really poisonous so I doubt we'll be seeing them. We haven't even gotten outside yet though.

Kashmir for President! 2012, baby!! Speaking of Kashmir, he nearly lost his cool in today's strip.

Kashmir for President! 2012, baby!! Speaking of Kashmir, he nearly lost his cool in today's strip. That's part of what is making it so funny. You can't really tell how much of it is him getting irate and how much of it is him staying in character. Of course I finally realize why Sandusky is taping all the background to the wall. (Besides being nipped out of his mind.) To get Achilles accustomed to the "outside" so he won't notice when they really do go outside.

That was quite the exchange between Kashmir and the house cat just before they left.

That was quite the exchange between Kashmir and the house cat just before they left. Yea, I think we've reach the point where we can assume Kashmir is breaking character. Kashmir just can't get any respect. I thought Achilles doesn't have a black tipped tail? He doesn't have one in strip #534 in the last frame.

John, I haven't been around the forum much lately, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the work you've put into Sandusky lately. Really stellar! The wedding story and now this - just amazing.
Thanks!

Man, I hate it when people pay more attention to the strip than I do! Technically, if you watch the movie, he's not really breaking character. King Arthur gets pretty upset at Dennis at this point of the movie. However, Duchess did bring Kashmir's mom into the discussion. You just don't talk about a guy's mom like that. Thanks for the thanks! The Monty Python spoof is right up my alley. I love putting together Sandusky's catnip-induced revisions to the original script. Come to think of it, can you really "spoof" Monty Python? On second thought, let's just call it a tribute.

Man, I hate it when people pay more attention to the strip than I do! You love the attention and you know it. I remember you doing the same thing with FC in Rocky Mountain Lion. You're so used to drawing Sandusky that it has become second nature, to the point where you draw him even when you don't want to. Technically, if you watch the movie, he's not really breaking character. King Arthur gets pretty upset at Dennis at this point of the movie. However, Duchess did bring Kashmir's mom into the discussion. You just don't talk about a guy's mom like that. Yea, as soon I got done at Burleigh and back on the road I realized what a bad choice of words that was. What I should have said is that Kashmir isn't trying to be in character, but happens to be anyway. I was kinda hopping nobody would call me on it until I could edit it, but I didn't get a chance to fix it at my next stop. I actually started writing that comment first and then I noticed Achilles tail and started checking the archive. Though King Arthur wasn't 10 times the size of his opponents. I imagine the fight with the Black night will be Kashmir against a small poodle or similarly sized opponent. I can only imagine what is going to happen when we meet the French? Come to think of it, can you really "spoof" Monty Python? On second thought, let's just call it a tribute. I prefer the term "Adaptation".
