I just get a kick out of how much Achilles is bemused in the second panel. He must be wondering by now what the point of all of this is. (Of which he is totally oblivious to. )

Speaking of which, I wonder what kind of imaginary cat pal Achilles would have if he were under the influence of enough catnip?

He He. ;D That little cat is doing a superb job. Achilles facial expressions just add to it. Um, John. I hate to nit pick, but you gave Achillies a black (brown?) tipped tail again. I thought you might just correct it in strip #534 but I see that he still has the "non tipped" tail there. You're stressing my suspension of disbelief here. Just trying to help. For all I know you spent the weekend trying to get Tundra's head out of a peanut butter jar, or finding where he hid your shoes, or finding where Cougar hid Tundra, and you had to hurry to get the strip up. \Hope everybody had a happy Valentines day.

Tee hee! Yup, I have to admit, he's quite the feisty little cat, but at the same time, I know he's just doing a great job as an actor. And the way he's "sitting" in the last two frames is just too adorable, it reminds me of the way that my own black cat Wally sits. Who can blame Tundra if he did? Peanut butter is yummy!!

Who can blame Tundra if he did? Peanut butter is yummy!! We've never seen such an event happen to our lovable trio of house-pets yet. *Hint* Hint* A perfect chance for Sandusky to get back at Bunker for making him eat all that cheese.

Ohhh Achilles is almost outside! I was wondering if the whole "druids whacking the heads" was going to work its way in. Love to see that it's a bobcat

Ohhh Achilles is almost outside! I was wondering if the whole "druids whacking the heads" was going to work its way in. Love to see that it's a bobcat Bobcat or Lynx? The two are so close together it is hard to tell. I have always loved the tuffs of hair on their ears, so cute. Sandusky could let that poor cat know that he/she doesn't have to hit themselves so hard with the text. As for the rest of that conversation, Sandusky, you may know Spanish, but those words are actually Latin. Translated, they mean "Kind Lord Jesus, grant them rest". That being said, Sandusky did make a very noble attempt at translating that and it did have quite hilarious results. ;D The question remains, will Achilles make it outside? Stay tuned for our next episode.

Actually, he's a caracal. I was kinda wondering why I didn't see any spots on his fur. I should have looked further in the subspecies of cats. Hope he doesn't get a headache. Can cats take asprin? Would have to split the pill aufully small.

Oh man alive, I hope Achilles can make it outside, the final question is whether he can muster up enough courage to take the final few steps out the door or not. Plus, in the second panel, it looks more like Kashmir is speaking to Sandusky rather than to Achilles.

I hope he does too, but I'm open to all sorts of possibilities. 1. Achilles overcomes his fear and goes outside. 2. The Black Knight strikes back. ;D 3. The other cats block block Achilles in so he can't back up inside again.

I wanted to reply to this, but I had to wait to upload documentation. Achilles does have a brown-tipped tail. I can't get it to re-upload to strip #534 for some reason. Nevertheless, you weren't too far off in one of your guesses. It wasn't Tundra and it wasn't a peanut butter jar, but... And Tundra's head is way too big for a peanut butter jar now anyway. Unless it's one of those enormous Sam's Club or CostCo bulk peanut butter jars.
