I'm browsing the web at 1600*1000px and it seems that your main page sticks to the left. I'd be pleased, if you could update the design sometimes, so that there's not too much free space to the right. Don't worry, there are some pages of large companys which don't care about the resolution or don't have the personal to do such things.

I honestly have no idea how to do that, even if I did have the time. I, too, browse in high resolution, but every suggestion I've come across with regards to the width of a website has told me not to go beyond what I have right now. I'm certainly open to explanations on how to appease both sides, though.

Well, first you could center your page and if you've got some dynamic content placement, you can locate items based on the width of the screen. Or you could give elements percentual sizes, like 10% as left & right borders and then split up the rest if you like. Just some basic ideas...
