SANDUSKY! Catnip is not an appropriate cure for writers block. Well, it looks like we are going to get to meet all the residents of the sanctuary again, though I have no idea how well this is going to go since the "director" is currently out of his mind on catnip. I just love how Sandusky starts out reasonable and just slowly goes downhill as more and more time passes. I just hope it wasn't the "spray on" catnip and Sandusky doused the scripts with it. The look on Kashmir's face in the 4th frame is just priceless. ;D

I wanted the ceremony to be very traditional in its wording, as I felt that Sandusky's interruption would play best in that context. That wording is the most familiar traditional wedding wording to me, even though I have never seen (nor have I any desire to see or read) Pride and Prejudice. The fact that they copied me on the verbiage was merely coincidental. By the way, my e-mail address is john@sanduskycomic.com. I suppose I need to put that back on my website, huh? Although it has cut down on the amount of SPAM I receive. Maybe you should put your email encryption such as www.wbwip.com/wbw/emailencoder.html which converted your email to john@sanduskycomic.com or <a href="mailto:john@sanduskycomic.com">john@sanduskycomic.com</a> (from www.knechtology.com/stop-spam/email_encoder.html?email_address=john%40sandusky.com&encoded_email_address= )

Or he could just post his email as nospam_john@sanduskycomic.com. Old and simple trick that trips up the bots. Bots won't delete the "nospam_", but a human user will.

Bots won't delete the "nospam_", but a human user will. except my method, the human would see john@sanduskycomic.com (in the first example) or john@sanduskycomic.com in the second example, but most bots would just see a line of numbers and symbols...

And you know what that'll do to all the other feline residents of the santuary? I smell trouble.

And you know what that'll do to all the other feline residents of the santuary? I smell trouble. Don't forget that the Canine residents are going to be wondering WTH is going on. ;D

Even if some of you have wondered, I haven't fallen dead or ill, I just have been very badly occupied with other matters. Like my 4.5-week vacation to Australia which came to an end last Thursday when I returned to icy Finland from Australian heat. And you know what that'll do to all the other feline residents of the santuary? I smell trouble. Even if catnip only affects part of them, since not all felines react to it, but I suppose it would still be general mayhem. Regardless of what is going to happen, I'll be curious to see how it pans out. Furthermore, I simply love how Kashmir look in the comic, and especially in the last panel - he not only appears mature, somehow, but I also love how refined he looks with his green eyes and sharply defined spots/tear strikes. =^.^= And, finally, an index to most of the photos I took while abroad, sadly, practically no (big) cats anywhere but plenty of other critters native to Australia.

That could make things even more interesting. I did a GIS for "catnip" and here is one of the funnier ones I've found. ;D I can SOOO see Sandusky in such a situation. BTW, it was a balmy 26 degrees F here in North Dakota today. Far better than the -15-20 F that we had for awhile.

Ah, what a wonderful idea Scott. I got to help launch and land a hot-air balloon once. A Lot of work, but really fun. Major laughs at the last frame. The "Director Sandusky" is a really nice touch. My question now is, is Sandusky talking to anyone or have Kashmir and Achilles just locked him up in that room to work off the catnip. I wonder if the "Ending" to the skit is going to be Scott coming to pick Sandusky up. (Doubt it though, Scott would have to be heading back right now.) Or perhaps it will be interrupted by feeding time.

Scott and Ashley are looking quite spiffy. I just hope they don't get too over heated wearing that black clothing. According to the weather monitor on my computer, it's a whopping 39 degrees here in Minot. However, after this warm spell, my mom thinks that we're going to pay dearly for it.

Warm weather is nice, but it tends to snow a lot. Cold weather isn't as nice, but it does not snow as much. You don't have to shovel cold though and you get some really good Sun Dogs. During the last cold spell I saw 4 really bright sun dogs, two on each side of the sun, at once. The inner two appeared almost as bright as the sun itself. It was really a spectacular sight. No way i could get a photo of it though. For those of you who have never seen sun dogs, here is a photo. This is not a camera effect, this is what you would really see. Often they are not as bright as this, but sometimes they are.
