Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas. I'm snowed in at home here in North Dakota, No travel advised across most of the state. Glad I wasn't planning on going anywhere.
Sandusky would probably be having fun in all the snowdrifts here right now.

I know.... great Christmas present for us all, huh? But in a way, it kind of adds to the coziness of the season (even though I know we'll all be bored to death with cabin fever after some time).
You know what? Sometimes I wonder how Sandusky and the gang would react to snow. I'd imagine that Bunker and Sierra would adjust quickly with them both being half husky.

I know.... great Christmas present for us all, huh? But in a way, it kind of adds to the coziness of the season (even though I know we'll all be bored to death with cabin fever after some time). Nah, it's fine. I'm working on my moms computer, my computer, and loading up some 30 carbine ammo. The great thing for me is that with this weather there is no way I can get called out for a weekend repair ticket at work. The interstates are closed. Almost all of the major highways are closed. I'm not going anywhere. Bunker will go around sniffing everything he can see, he will get his tongue stuck to a flagpole or chain link fence. That or he will be whining about how cold his paws are and be wearing dogie mittens. Sierra will go around with Sandusky for awhile exploring. She'll get tired because she is just walking through the snow while Sandusky is leaping 10' at a time through the snow. She'll burrow into a snowbank and take a nap. Sandusky will find how fun it is to climb up a tree and leap off into a thick snowbank, eventually landing on Sierra. (Did this when I was a kid. GREAT fun until you completely flatten the snowbank.) Scott and Ashly will be inside the cabin looking out with the video camera.

Now that I think about it, I wonder how poor Kashmir would do in the cold. My guess is, "Not well." He'll be inside under a dozen quilts.
Kashmir is typically the one who takes charge when they are together and it kinda strikes me as funny imagining a situation where Sandusky would be the one leading the way. Instead of working to get Achilies outside, it would be trying to get Kashmir outside. ;D
Not to mention it would get interesting when Kashmir first discovers ice and how it compounds his stopping problem.

Heh, the neighbor kids are next door building a snow fort. Digging a snow fort would probably be more accurate though with as much snow as we have gotten. The funny thing is that they aren't using the snow they dig to build up the sides, they are just tossing it over onto the driveway that their dad spent a lot of time scraping off.
I can SOOOOOO see Bunker and Sandusky doing something like that. ;D
/Off to go dig my car out so I can get to work tomorrow.

That actually sounds like fun, I want to do it. ;D Anyways, I went out for a walk yesterday afternoon for an hour (well, actually a "trudge" would be more fitting) and I actually enjoyed it. LOL!! On the other hand, we got about 24 inches here in Minot where I live. Hope the roads are getting better where you're at.

There isn't a hill for 25 miles. ;D Driving on slick roads is a lot simpler when you don't have to contend with hills AND poor traction. I pass through Minot every once and awhile for work.
