Good luck, John in your endeavors. We'll miss Sandusky, but we'll be here when you come back.

Yup, still stopping in, waiting for the day a new strip gets posted. Patiently waiting. Been trying to limit my postings so you don't think that I'm antagonizing you or anything.

I still drop by everyday to; I'm too hooked on Sandusky now. I've been thinking about why I "feel" so differently about Sandusky vs other comics I read. I've probably mentioned some of this stuff before, but whatever. I think it's because John has created something where I can empathize with all the main characters, not just some of them or some characters some of the time. I have an emotional attachment to the characters and you just can't drop that when a comic gets put on hold for whatever reason. John's humor doesn't require any "predictable stupidity" that turns me off a lot of movies and books. (Especially zombie books/movies.) He's done a good job of developing the personalities of Sandusky, Bunker, Sierra, ets as that of an actual cat and dog, instead of a human mind in an animal body as lots of other comics seem to do. There's no "stupid" characters that make me ask the question of why anyone puts up with them. You don't need "stupid" characters if you have solid writing, as John shows. (and a couple other comics as well.) There's never any glaring plot holes either, those really break the immersion on a comic. (OK there are some on the nip trips, but those aren't "real" so those we can let slide.) John's also smart and doesn't try to mix politics with his comic as some seem to try and do. "Two Lumps" does this every so often and it really tends to fall flat. Even when they are making fun of the "other side" I really don't get a laugh out of it. Anyway, thanks for putting up with my rambling, it just felt good to talk about Sandusky a bit.

I still enjoy the bit about Sandusky needing more fiber in his diet!
My kitties love boxes and also like chewing on boxes.
