This strip kind of reminded me of the struggle to get a pill down your pet's throat. Not too long ago, our black cat Wally had an open wound that we think he got in a cat fight, so a vet prescribed some antibiotics him so that it would not become infected. And everytime you attempted to give that cat a pill, he would squirm and resist for his dear life. Then, when you thought the pill was beyond the gullet and into the belly, guess what? Wally would spit up the pill again. . Thus, the process had to be repeated again (several times over, of course. ).

See Sara, Scott isn't just some yahoo who found a cougar cub. He's making sure Little Sandusky is getting all his vitamins via a cougar milkshake. He won't end up like some of the cougar cubs we're seen in real life when that happens. Scott just has to make sure Sandusky doesn't eat the bottle. That and he doesn't know how to burp a cougar. ;D

What is it about a burping cougar that I am finding so adorable and cute that I giggle about it every time it pops into my mind?

Why do Scott and Sara need to watch television now? They've got entertainment in the shape of a flamboyant, hyper active cougar cub.

Got to love overambitious kitties. They always think they can make the jump no matter how far it is. As bad as you feel for them, it is incredibly hilarious to watch them go "splat". They're flexible and soft so they bounce back easy enough.

I just realized something. I bet Sandusky still thinks he can make some distances in one jump. ;D

Tee hee! Despite how dangerous it is, I think Sandusky looks so cute and naive in that panel. Maybe I should just imagine that he has a long cord of licorice in his mouth instead? yet again, is a cougar cub high on sugar equally as dangerous?

You could also imagine that it's the controller cable for the X-box. Agree that he looks absolutely adorable. I finally found the picture that the second frame reminded me of. /bad bunny.

*Poke* *Poke* Wake up John. Sandusky doesn't like it when his comic is late.

It's not me, it's ComicGenesis. I was up all night slaving away at the computer, and I don't even get the courtesy of an update. I tried to update it manually, but I can't revise the individual pages. I did manage to get it on the web, but the page is still not working properly. You can see the new strip here: sandusky.comicgenesis.com/d/20101029.htmlBut the navigation buttons won't work properly until somebody fixes the uploader for ComicGenesis.

I can relate to that, I hate it when you work hard on something and then something completely out of your control doesn't work and make your stuff not work. Reminds me of a phone system in one of the counties we service. It's supposed to be on the network so the staff can access it remotely, it's a feature that's in the contract, but the IT lady can't *cough*won't*cough* re-subnet the network to give us the necessary IP addresses and is totally unhelpful and won't let us run a route to the switch. Anyway, back to the comic: So true Scott. It works for children as well as pets. Poor little Sandusky has no idea what he is getting into. Bunker, you're making it hard to feel sorry for you when Sandusky pounces on you.

Father of the Pride, huh? That reminds me of when my family and I went to Vegas when I was about 13 and I got to go to the Secret Gardens in the Mirage.
