My oh my Bunker, you're just beginning to get involved in all the fun that Sandusky and Sierra are having? Where on earth have you been?

You'd kill me if I told you what my temp was today ... Why would I do that? If you were stealing our heat then that might be an option, but it's not like you have a sunshine magnet. John, you should make the last panel into a background image.

Calvin and Hobbes vs. Sandusky, Sierra and Bunker in a snowball fight? Ladies and gentlemen, I think this may be the clash of all clashes.

I can't imaging what he'll do in a snowball fight. Perhaps he'll be like me when I play FPS with friends, I'm the decoy/diversion bullet magnet. BTW, 34F in Grand Forks, I'm driving with the windows down in February.

Just got finished watching the local news. 38F here right now! Plus, my hands are feeling MUCH less dry too, thanks to Lubriderm.

Just got finished watching the local news. 38F here right now! Plus, my hands are feeling MUCH less dry too, thanks to Lubriderm. Yup, the humidity is rising too. That's helping to keep it warm by holding in the heat. That and we have lots more bare ground, so less sunlight getting reflected back into space. I wonder how cold it is where Sandusky is? I hope he doesn't get soaked from the snowball fight. Unlike a "regular" house cat, Scott can't let Sandusky cuddle inside his coat to warm up. Knowing Sandusky, he will try.

It's supposed to be 60 and sunny at the Grand Canyon tomorrow in the real world, but it gets down into the 20s at night. In Sandusky's world, let's say 40 and sunny right now. Meanwhile, in John's real world, it has been pushing 80 for the past couple of days. Morning walks with Cougar and Tundra are still brisk, though. Temps where I am are still getting down into the 40s at night. It's rough, but nobody ever said the winters in Phoenix were easy.

Looks like Scott and Ashley don't have their imaginations in gear. Why would you when you're in such a beautiful place.

80, 60, 40, even 20 are pretty mild temps to me. It's 45F here right now, by the way. I can even go outside WITHOUT a jacket on. Hmph, "slimey girl". Calvin and Hobbes may regret that. Seeing that Calvin has been outwitted by Susie in the comic strips before, I'm pretty sure that Sierra is capable of doing the same thing.

Loved the wild left turn in today's strip (would you call that a skewed foreshadowing?) - and LOVE the homage to C&H, my all-time favorite comic strip, even including Doonesbury, and I learned to read by having my dad read Gasoline Alley and the Katzenjammer Kids and Terry and the Pirates to me.

And referring to the weather reports - this is the time of year when it's real easy to tell the natives from the tourists. The tourists are sleeveless in shorts, and the natives are in hats and scarves and heavy coats. Temps are seesawing slowly around 60.
