I needed something to put in this section, so here are some pictures from my recent trip to Out of Africa in Camp Verde, Arizona. If you want to learn more about the park, their website is www.outofafricapark.com.

Oooh, cute tigers. I feel ashamed that I haven't visited a zoo in years, the Korkeasaari zoo is an hour away and it has snow leopards for one.

Working with big cats would be one of the best jobs in the world IMO. I'd jump at the opprotunity to interact with a large feline. And the tiger in the photos looks very lovely. ;D

If you're willing to do the work, there are lots of sanctuaries out there looking for people with the time and energy to make a life for these cats. If you fantasize about hugging a big cat, and that is your driving force for going out there, then it might behoove you to stay home and look at pictures instead

If you fantasize about hugging a big cat, and that is your driving force for going out there, then it might behoove you to stay home and look at pictures instead It's not too bad to die, if there's a sense in life, your soul, your knowledge and your ideas will live on. It might be dangerous, but what would life be without dangers? If I had to chose, I'd like to die fast, instead of being bonded to a bed, unable to move or doing the simplest things (and I don't like these poison-things, that's something for cowards). There won't be anything that'll stop me, until I'm dead... and I'll definitely not listen to my primitive unconscious human thoughts... So if I'd chose doing that, I'd knew exactly what I'd be doing: Spinning the coin dor another time, to see whether I'd live or die. btw. very nice pictures ;D

Somewhat off-topic, but why work in a sanctuary when you can care for big cats in your own home : I share my home with 11 cats - four cheetahs, five lions and two tigers. Naturally, it's pretty much one-in-a-million chance, plus I strongly suspect there's an enormous amount of commitment and dull grind behind those funny pictures. (To digress more, I still think someone should try to domesticate cheetahs, since their numbers in wild are dwindling and it's not like they aren't rather heavily dependent on human aid already. )
