What is Batman saying? I can't make it out. It's not supposed to be legible. "Invisicat" is asking "The Puma" why they don't hogtie "Dingo" and take him to the jail. Of course Sandusky's answer illustrates the "problem" with most superhero comics. The hero is able to defeat them time after time, yet unable to contain or restrain them from regrouping and attacking again.

Friday's strip will probably be a bit late in arriving, as I've been slammed at work recently. Our only other project manager took a new job in California recently, and we don't plan on hiring anybody new for a while. So, I'm now doing the job of two mortal men - plus the extra Sandusky strips. I suppose I could use some of The Puma's super powers right about now.

Oh my you have me laughing. I've missed this weeks comics because of vacation and work. As I read these comics, in a gas station parking lot on my netbook, here are my thoughts as I read them.
Monday: Hmmm, Sandusky vs bird and Sedona is coming over. This is going to get interesting. I wonder if Sedona is going to get a heads up about Sandusky's current condition.
Wednesday: Not much of a fan of Alfred Hitchcock movies. I like Indiana Jones movies. Specifically, "The Last Crusade". Birds more aptly imitate a particularly unfortunate Messerschmidt pilot. Though to be fair, the same thing happens in NbNW.
Is it wrong of me to be thinking of proper weapon and ammo selection for taking out said bird? (I've got stuff that is quieter than a BB gun.) ;D
If you want to be evil, put a bird feeder outside in front of a picture window. Sure you will get some birds that smack the window. It's after a few weeks when you move the bird feeder to the other side of the window that you really start getting the big numbers.
Friday: OOO Things are going to get interesting. I wonder if Sedona will get warned or if they will just play along for the time being unaware of Sandusky's mental state. Either way, that bird is going down.
I am going to be waiting in earnest for Monday.
I can most certainly sympathize with you John. I've been raking in the hours as well at work. Two weeks ago I worked an 83 hour week on an install job. I got back from vacation and I've worked a 16 hour day and today will be another 16 hour day. Next week is likely going to be a 60+ hour week as I head to another install site.
The plus side is that in the winter when things slow, I have those hours banked to use. I like my free time, but money is good too.
I hope you are being compensated for the extra work. Though in this economy, who knows.
I better get back on the road, I'll talk later.

Long time reader, first time poster
This is getting interesting. I wonder what Bunker is planning but odds are it will be somewhat mischievous and very, very funny.
I like how well this strip is written. Normally it's not this easy to have a storyline that allows for fantasy sequences like this one but still be somewhat being canon.

Thanks for posting and welcome aboard, RaceFanX! I appreciate the kind comments about my writing. The fantasy sequences like this are fairly easy to get away with in my strip. I liken Sandusky's imagination to that of Calvin and Hobbes. While he's definitely intelligent, he's still naive enough to believe he's a sabre-toothed cougar or a superhero. Of course, it usually takes some catnip or pain medication to really get him into the fantasy. You definitely couldn't get away with the same things if these were all adult human characters. With Sandusky, his imagination is an endearing quality. With Scott, however, it'd just be plain weird.

I'm not meaning to go off topic or anything like that, but I really like you have the word "muggle" in todays strip as a reference to Harry Potter, John. ;D
And also, who knows? Sandusky and his buddies could have some evil, powerful witches or wizards to conquer in future strips. LOL!!

And now Bunker has sucked sis into the madness. She's already beginning to doubt whether she really wants in. Now Dusker has TWO huskies to play with!

Wow John, you must really be working hard at giving us a comic a day. Hope you're done covering for that empty position at work. Sorry I haven't been able to comment lately. These 60 hour weeks don't leave much time to post. (Seems like 50 of those hours was spent on a ladder, guess how my feet feel.) You're churning out so much good stuff and I can't take the time to comment. I actually set the alarm early so I could get up and post. Though even more funny is me on Tuesday seeing a new comic and wondering what day of the week it is. You had me thinking it was Wednesday for awhile. So we are going to have the 3 stooges vs the Wonder Twins. The one question I have is, WHY ARN'T THEY VIDEO TAPING THIS. ;D I am still wondering how spry Sierria is vs Sandusky. Never really seen the two go against each other. Bunker is kind of like a 50 amp fuse in a 10 amp circuit, doesn't realize things are going badly until it is way too late. Sierra is a little quicker than that, so she might be more of a "challenge". It will be interesting if they keep using those masks. You have a very limited field of vision with them. Could literally become 3 stooges as those three trip over each other.

All I can saw is "awwwww poor Sedona" stuck outside the fence, no idea whats going on.. Agreed, that is how it always is. Mom gets left behind while the kids run off, leaving her behind and all alone. Poor Sedona. Perhaps she will be the "damsel in distress" being held captive by the "wonder twins"/"magicians" that Sandusky and the cubs will have to rescue from the "cage". I wonder if Sedona has any clue as to what is going on yet. It's not good to be both left behind and in the dark about the current "situation". Hopefully Bunker fills her in. I wonder what characters the cubs are going to be? A whole bunch of possibilities. Pirates are an obvious choice. The Fantastic 3? Justice Leauge? X-men could result in some interesting storyline, imagine a cougar playing "Wolverine". ;D

Boy I hope Sedona doesn't fall and get hurt. Chain link fences are very unreliale in that regard. though the fence has held three cougar cubs, so perhaps my fears are unfounded.
Perhaps we will get a "Fantasitc Four/Five" going here. ;D

Mom gets left behind while the kids run off, leaving her behind and all alone. Poor Sedona. Gee wiz... I feel even more sorry for her. She addresses her baby brother and he's too whacked out to recognize that its his own sister.... anywho, Sedona is just a mere hair away form being suck into the inevitable mayhem. I hope we're all ready to witness the battle of the century folks.

Sedona is just getting more and more confused. Will Bunker PLEASE fill her in.
As for the cubs, pure genius. Though it WILL be interesting to see how the Sombreros work out.
