He He, Galahad always gets the ladies. How do you keep an imaginary cat out of the female cats enclosure? ;D Not even going to guess what kind of cats we have here, I'll get it wrong anyway. One can tell that Sandusky ruched through some parts of the script. Hope you had a good trip John.

Well, I do believe that two of the three of them are Kalahari (a leopard) and Himalaya is it? (a snow leopard) and the third one must be a melanistic leopard. It's going to be very interesting how John is going to adapt this scenario so that it is at least rated PG. Oh yes, I nearly forgot.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CROSSHAIR!!! ;D

Oh yes, I nearly forgot.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CROSSHAIR!!! ;D Thanks, I didn't do anything special though. Worked a nice 14.5 hour day installing some cameras and repairing a busted phone system. Got home and went to bed. It's going to be very interesting how John is going to adapt this scenario so that it is at least rated PG. I was wondering that too but didn't have time yesterday to mention it since I had to run some erands before I went to work. You can tell my post was a little rushed yesterday. He's done such a great job so far it will be interesting to see what he comes up with here. Well, I do believe that two of the three of them are Kalahari (a leopard) and Himalaya is it? (a snow leopard) and the third one must be a melanistic leopard. Now all we have to do is figure out if all 3 of them are real or if some are catnip companions. ;D

Aw cap. Gonna have to probably put together a flow chart to keep track of this one as it develops.

Geez... there is a lot of catnip being thrown around around in this story arc. I think Sandusky must have brought some sort of large feline Woodstock to the sanctuary. Also, I'm beginning to wonder how Scott and Ashley would react to this if they were here. Hmm, I dunno... something is telling me that Sandusky's little production would be a tad too much for them to bear. I'm sure they're pretty composed not to have a nipped out cougar around for a little while.

Except kitties smell better, don't try to bum gas money off you, and are incredibly cute to watch when they are nipped out of their minds. Consider how many imaginary characters we have here the whole storyline may be a little hard for them to follow. Kind of like listening to one side of a telephone conversation. Sometimes it's hilarious and sometimes it's boring as heck. Best to video tape it and edit out the boring bits. Besides, at home they can just lock Sandusky in the back yard and watch from the deck.

*Gets larger piece of paper for flow-chart* King certainly has a point. What is the point of doing it? It's like wearing nice clothes at home. Nobody is going to see you so why bother, wear the worn out stuff. You can certainly tell that King and Mellencamp are being heavily influenced by the personalities of Sandusky and Kashmir. This is one heck of a nip-trip if that's happening. How many days do you think they will be out when the catnip wears off? Is Sandusky going to start acting like Mellencamp? Or perhaps Mellencamp helped Sandusky write that scene? *Starts editing flow chart again.* I have to say John, this strip is just like a gasoline soaked pile of fireworks. (Go on, ask me how I know this.) You light it, run like hell, and let our minds do the rest. ;D It's crude yet incredibly entertaining to watch. Bravo sir.

Oh, goodness.... isn't it just astounding? I mean, I know Sandusky has gotten his head into the catnip before, but man oh man, this is one for the record books. I'm also beginning to wonder how on earth Sandusky managed to lay his paws on that much catnip in the first place. And to imagine, Dusker got himself all nipped out like that just so a timid Achilles can step outside for some fresh air. And as for how long they'll be out after the effects of the catnip? Well after how much they had, I'd imagine they would have some unpleasant headaches. I'm just dazed thinking about it.

Maybe they happened to get into some really good stuff.

I wouldn't necessarily say they "ruined" that scene. Went rather well all things considered. Good to see I'm not the only one who has wondered about the scene numbering in the script. Achilles looks oh so cute, in a straight jacket wearing kind of way. I keep grinning like an idiot at the way that Sandusky looks with that bucket on his head. Yea, you probably should have cast Petroclus for that part Sandusky. Problem is that you'd have to have found him first after his last scene. How do you find an imaginary friend who is hiding?

And, actually, he looked as if he was trying to be brave in that scene (until he was told he would be "killed" LOL!), unlike some cowardly little gray fluff of fur that just ditched the scene right on the spot. Ya know what? I got to thinking about this the other day and now I clearly realize that the two characters I mentioned in this previous post are feline residents of the ZOO and not the SANCTUARY. Again, another whammy on my part.

I don't think there will be any new Sandusky strips for the rest of the week (or possibly longer), as I just found out that the biggest influence on the strip, and Sandusky's real life counterpart, had to be put down this morning. Noki stopped eating a few days back, and when they brought him into the vet to figure out why, he was found to have a very advanced form of cancer. He was such a strong and healthy cat. It's hard to believe he could be gone so quickly. I know you are all animal lovers, so I'm sure that you will understand. Rest in peace, Noki.

Awwwwww, poor Noki. Hopefully he didn't suffer too long. Edit: Now that I think about it, what is the proper way to remember Noki in a situation like this? Burry him, stuff him and mount him, or make him into a rug? OK I can see how that might sound mean to some, but it's not intended that way. He wasn't killed for his fur of course and he was a beautiful cat. What do you all think?

Like you said, I know that you would want to preserve Noki's memeory in a way that everyone would remember him, but still, I'm not quite sure about the options that you listed. I apologize.... I was thinking maybe plant a tree or erect some kind of statue in honor of him instead?
