5.56x45 vs 7.62x39
They are rifle cartridges. The 7.62x39 is typically used in the AK-47 and variants while the 5.56x45 is used in AR-15s. (Though one of my AKMs is chambered in 5.56.) There is a never ending debate on gun forums over which one is better. well the 4.62x39 are better because it equals 297.18 where as the 5.56x45 fall short at only 250.2.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
Sorry about today's strip being late. I had to come into work really early this morning, so I wasn't able to finish it last night. I should have it done early this evening my time (MST).

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! Sorry about today's strip being late. I had to come into work really early this morning, so I wasn't able to finish it last night. I should have it done early this evening my time (MST). That happens. I figured something must have come up for you when I didn't find a comic this morning. I had to go into work on Saturday evening because the Digital Informant at a major customers site went down so I had to go fix that, then on the way back, a PSU blew on a DVR at another major customer, thankfully in Grand Forks. Didn't get home until 11 PM. well the 7.62x39 are better because it equals 297.18 where as the 5.56x45 fall short at only 250.2. Never heard that one. I'll have to be a smartass and use that in those threads. ;D

LOL!!! Today's strip actually reminded me of my cat Baby today. Whenever he hears you opening up a can of something, he will be right there on the spot thinking it's tuna because he absolutely LOVES the juice that you can drain from the can.[ That sounds like you work for Midcontinent, crosshair. You know what? That is the first time I have ever heard someone use a cuss word on this forum.

Heh, I am kinda glad you were late in posting this strip. Good to have a nice laugh after a nice hard day of work. The best strips are those where you don't have to exaggerate anything, yet can make it funnier than real life. ;D When he was younger, our dog Patch would be able to hear us scooping up dog food from the big bag in the basement ANYWHERE in the house no matter how quiet we were. Sometimes just to mess with him I'd open the door to the furnace room where we kept the dog food and jostle the bag a bit just to get him going. I'm not sure what is funnier, the hopeful look on Sandusky's face or the look on Bunker's face. Bunker looks so hopeful in the second frame and dejected in the last frame. If Bunker likes Milk Bones as much as Patch did, loosing one would be equivalent of me loosing two weeks pay. It's good to see Scott happy and enjoying himself instead of having to clean up after the misadventures. I wonder if the 4.8 seconds is when Sandusky is awake or if he is sleeping. One would think you would have to have different categories. I wonder what would happen if Sandusky fell asleep on a rug and Scott turned the rug 90-180 degrees, then opened the fridge. ;D That sounds like you work for Midcontinent, crosshair. Heh, No. I work somewhere allot safer than that. I work as a field tech for a local company that does the inmate phone service in ND and several other states. (Among other things.) All the "problem" customers are behind steel and Plexiglas. Unlike some of the "problem" customers in the cable TV industry. Some people rag on us because of how much we charge for calls, but they don't realize the cost of building and maintaining the whole system. That and the downright abuse that the phones are subject to. That's enough of that, who wants to bring work into their leisure time. I just got back from a 14 hour day. Meh, depends on the context somewhat. For the most part nowadays, that's a curse word of the same severity that "poopie head" is.

KA-BLOOSH!!! ;D That's going to be stuck in my head all day now. When you think of "Cats vs Dogs" this isn't exactly the first thing that comes to mind. I remember playing battleship as a child. I soon figured out to do a grid pattern search while everyone else was randomly picking coordinates. Nobody wanted to play me after awhile, even though I wasn't winning THAT often. You also had to learn how to have a good poker face as well. BTW, nice roundabout/softball Veterans day reference. I had a niggling doubt that there was something I had forgotten, then i realize that it is Nov 11th.

Tee hee! Even after he wins, Sandusky just has to rub it in even more. But I won't be too worried about Bunker, he'll dry off.

I just don't get why Sandusky doesn't seem to like to be petted and hugged? Just a personality quirk I guess. At least Sandusky doesn't seem to use his claws, otherwise Scott would be really hurting. Though our dog Patch was similar, he liked to be petted and hugged, but DID NOT like to sit in your lap and be hugged/petted. Every time I tried he'd do his darnedest to claw his way out. Scott is right, sometimes you just have to do something even though you know it is probably a bad idea. Good to see him happy even though he's getting roughed up a bit. I can't quite make out what book Ashley is reading.

It looks like Scott fell into a meat grinder and lived to tell about it. When he was younger, our oldest cat Baby wasn't to fond of receiving belly rubs, either. But now when he's on his back looking all nice and cute, he dosen't mind getting the good ol' belly rub cause now he realizes it feels so good. Also, I'd like to bring up that in a book about cats that I have, it says that if a cat rolls on its back and shows it's tummy too you, it's a sign that it trusts you. Likewise, it would make sense since a great sum of the bodies vital internal organs are housed within the thoracic and the abdominal region of the body, so the whole part about "trust" would actually make complete sense for the sake of survival instinct. And as for Sandusky, he was just caught off gaurd by human deceit.

I was thinking about today's comic and I realized that it shows just how much Scott cares about Sandusky, that he loves him despite all his faults and irritations.
I'm sure we all can relate this comic to people and pets whom we love, but don't always like, because of and despite all their faults and flaws.
I got a nice warm fuzzy feeling when I realized that. ;D
